Welcome to Care Sports Initiative (C-Sports), a non-governmental organization committed to using sports as a catalyst for community development, empowerment, and social change across Uganda.

Our initiatives promote sports for peace, health awareness, youth empowerment, and more. We believe in the power of sports to foster unity and improve the lives of individuals, especially the youth, women, and vulnerable communities.

Key Objectives:

  • Promote sports across Uganda and improve sports facilities.

  • Assist in the formation and strengthening of local sports clubs.

  • Empower youth and foster peace relations through sports.

  • Raise awareness and educate on gender-based violence and health practices.

  • Support and nurture young people through partnerships with key stakeholders.

Programs

We use sports activities to promote physical and mental well-being within communities. Our health-focused sports programs aim to educate people on the importance of exercise, healthy nutrition, and disease prevention.

Through sports, we create safe spaces for discussion on gender equality and gender-based violence. Our programs help empower women and men to speak out against violence, challenge stereotypes, and promote human rights.

We support refugee communities by using sports to foster integration and emotional healing. Our sports activities promote social unity and provide a sense of belonging for refugees in Uganda.

We use sports and interactive activities to teach essential personal and social skills like teamwork, cooperation, and conflict resolution, while also promoting education by developing discipline, leadership, and time management in young people.

Our environmental programs use sports to raise awareness about the importance of conserving Uganda’s natural resources and maintaining environmental sustainability.

We provide a safe environment for children through sports activities that promote inclusivity, non-violence, and respect for children’s rights, while educating communities on child protection.
